Chris is the lead of the graphics team responsible for the server-side rendering capability of HEAVY.AI. His career spans nearly 12 years with diverse roles in graphics, starting in film visual effects at Industrial, Light, & Magic where, as an FX technical director, he helped create the visual effects for films such as Star Trek Into Darkness, Transformers, & the Academy Award-Winning Rango. He later pivoted from vfx to data visualization and joined the chart rendering team at Bloomberg LP before joining HEAVY.AI where he enjoys building cutting-edge data visualization frameworks.
